Before I jumped into my Paint Challenge, I was talking about solo X-wing and the experiences I was having. I did have a report in the works and I figured I should get it out before the details turn to mush.

With Wyatt Earp complete, I moved on to his older brother, Virgil last night. This was done in the same style as before and I’m working up a quick photo guide on how I’m doing this as well.

For day 4, I’ll just keep pushing through these Old West figures before I distract myself with something like Infinity.
I dedicated day 2 completely to the finishing of my first old west figure.

I was pretty excited getting Wyatt Earp finished up in this style. What I find interesting is it isn’t quite like the monochromatic style I did with my black and white Walking Dead.

I’ll dedicate some time to really define the differences later but I really felt blending the Inked style I was doing earlier with Here’s Negan and the original B/W Walking Dead came together in this Sepia style I’m going for. On to more western heroes tonight.
With a glut of new Infinity models and time to kill, I thought I’d start up another month-long Paint Challenge. I may not post everyday but I’ll catch up as often as possible.

With my new Death Star board finished up, I decided to put it through its paces. The biggest question is “how” in this new age of social distance gaming. Until some tech improves, Solo is my only option (since I’m wanting to play physically and not use one of the online ports).
Luckily, Fantasy Flight has provided just such a solution: enter the Solo Play Open Alpha ruleset.

In April, I celebrated the completion of my Infinity collection. All was assembled. All was painted. Then this “CodeOne” thing was released with my faction and, well, all good things must come to an end so I’m back in the thick of it.

For a while now I’ve been sitting on a project that really never went anywhere. I’d been wanting to play a western skirmish game and so I set about collecting various things I’d need to eventually set it all up but I never really got past the collection phase. Then, I saw Back to the Future Part III again and started getting the itch to finally start this venture up.
