This may have been the hardest day yet. I really had to push to get going on a paint task today and only started it with 30 minutes left in the day. After I got going, I went for about an hour but I’ll still count it all under this day.
Well the weekend didn’t quite go as planned and I’m still plodding along trying to finish up my last Infinity figure. I’ve made some headway but it is slow going as other projects I’ve let languish are vying for attention. More on those later but tonight I have a little more progress on my Fat Yuan Yuan.
I got distracted with some Dropzone Commander that I’m working on so not the long painting session I was anticipating. I did get the orange down on the figure (moar orange!) and so he’s starting to come together now.
As expected, I finished up my Celestial Guard tonight and started up on the last infinity figure.
Whittling down the Infinity stock I have the last of my Celestial Guard. We last saw her in the early days of this month as well sporting the orange armor so prevalent in my army.
With all the work now done on the Infinity Guijia Squadron model, I was able to show off the last little addition I made. With this biggest Yu Jing model in the game and TAGs being more of a centerpiece unit, I really wanted to make things stand out so in addition to the custom base topper, I also decided to build a custom base to house an LED and have the base light up.
With the WarCor finished up yesterday I forgot he comes with a little drone buddy to capture the epicness of battle. I dug the model back out, primed him up a set to work.
While my big TAG and sniper are being sealed, I moved on to complete the Infinity War Correspondent or WarCor for short.
Day 20 finds me finishing up the leftovers like picking up after a crazy weekend of partying. First up is the wrap up of Lunah, sniper extraordinaire.
Another long Paint day as I work through this 19th day of April. I have more Infinity models to get through but the collection is dwindling and I only have a few models to go.
