About

Nothing is beyond Improvement

I started this blog after looking at my gaming shelf one day and realizing how many times I’ve added or improved upon the existing contents of those shelves.  Whether it is something as simple as adding a custom sticker/decal to an already great miniature or creating a complete re-theme of an existing game, the obsession to improve on my gaming collection has been strong ever since I started this hobby years ago.

The time has come to catalog and dissect this obsession to shell out good money for a professionally produced game and immediately turn around and try to improve it.  “Pimping” is what I’ve always called it and through this blog, I hope to show you what I’ve done, how I’ve done it, and how you too can make everyday improvements on the games you hold in highest esteem.

I am no artist.  I don’t come from a design or art background. My education is in music and yet, I still jump at the chance to pimp out (usually) well designed and beautiful games.  I hope something in this blog inspires you to jump in and pimp out games in your collection as well. If you do, I’d love to hear about it in the comments.

Where did you get the little baggies for flick them up?

    • Christian

I believe I just pulled some baggies from the jewelry section of a Hobby Lobby or Michael’s craft store.

I came here through a walking dead rabbit hole.
I just wanted to let you know I check every week – I love reading your blogs
The effort is appreciated as you tell the stories of each project effectively.
Loved the TWD comics btw. Had a good laugh.

Thanks Craig! I really appreciate it and I’m glad to hear from you. I hope to have more Walking Dead material up as I have a backlog of Here’s Negan items I’ve been working on.

Hey Christian, did you ever upload STLs of your designs you did for the dropzone board? Namely the overpass, the overpass crashed area and the ditch supports. If not, I’d love to get my hands on them. Thanks!
