There is a ton of content in that game and since I want to start with the terrain (like most of my projects*), I took a look at the many trees that come in the base set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">*well technically I started off Joan of Arc with my <a href=\"http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/?p=8021\">Dragon<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8019\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659-600x450.jpg 600w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659-198x148.jpg 198w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659-400x300.jpg 400w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659-900x675.jpg 900w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7659.jpg 1067w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These trees are nice little sculpts for the game but are really bright.  The plastic coloring they chose looks very unnatural and since I didn&#8217;t want to have to do a lot of extra work, I decided to approach it like my <a href=\"http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/?p=7985\">HATE terrain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8018\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658-600x450.jpg 600w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658-198x148.jpg 198w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658-400x300.jpg 400w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658-900x675.jpg 900w, http:\/\/pimpmyboardgame.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Joan_of_Arc_trees_7658.jpg 1067w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A quick wash with the new &#8220;magic wash&#8221; I made helped but didn&#8217;t quite tone down the bright colors enough. I could (and might) stop there but with a bunch of trees in the queue, I want to get the process down before moving on to the assembly line.
