One victim remains in the Pit: Hammer Showdown. Tyreese, Prison Advisor is a weaker option than Pro-Football Tyreese (the current Pit King<\/a>) but I decided to deck him out like his figure even though it breaks my normal 75 point limit.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With his Riot Gear<\/em>, Riot Helmet<\/em>, and trusty Hammer<\/em>, Tyreese, Prison Advisor is a belt-busting 103 points. To compensate, I decided to throw in my three Armored Walkers (replacing three existing walkers) to even the odds at 105 walker points.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Let’s see how Tyreese handles this new challenge.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The lights flicker on, blinding Tyreese as he gets to his feet. As his eyes adjust, the stark room comes into focus centering on the blood scrawled message in the center of the room: \u201cSURVIVE.\u201d Before he can even think about the cryptic message, Tyreese sees the walkers.\u00a0 With no discernible way out, the message becomes crystal clear as the dead start to notice they too are no longer alone\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

In typical Tyreesian fashion, he rockets out of the gate like a wrecking ball.\u00a0 Luckily, Mohawk Walker can take the headshot otherwise Open-Face Sandwich Walker would just ignore it with his magic helmet. I’m assuming this is how this plays out and Armored walkers don’t cause the entire group to ignore one headshot. If so, a better way to write that walker’s ability is to say that it takes two headshots to remove it from play.\u00a0 They likely would have been too tough but I wonder if Armored Walkers should have also caused the opponent to lose a die just like having Riot Gear and a Riot Helmet on would normally work.\u00a0 Ah well, another time perhaps.<\/p>\n

Tyreese takes down his first kill and knocks Open-Face to the ground.<\/p>\n

In round 2, Tyreese takes his first search and scores the awesome Hunting Knife.\u00a0 He really only wants it for Dual Wield to get a reroll and fish for headshots.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tyreese moves over to curb stomp Open-Face (an effective way to take out Armored Walkers) but his buddy decides to crash the party.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Riot Gear is pretty funny against solo walkers as they won’t actually throw a die at you.\u00a0 Not that one die would do anything against Tyreese and his hammer. But only one headshot, which will get ignored, so this walker is down for a little nap.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And Open-Face decides to get back up basically ruining Tyreese’s next round.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s not all bad as Open-Face brings a friend, who immediately gets brained.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tyreese runs down to the other side of the Pit to try to get another non-armored walker but the dice come up short of any headshots so he just pushes everyone down.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And then they just all get up again…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tyreese takes the second supply crate and finds a gun.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In a fit of stupidity, he fires it and somehow hits the walker 5 feet in front of him. It wasn’t in the head but at least he’s down.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This calls all the Armored walkers over for a little “chat.” Oh and a storm starts raging outside bringing a ton of new friends to the party.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But Tyreese likes to look at these situations as opportunities instead of obstacles. Finally using Open-Face’s obvious disadvantage, Tyreese takes down an Armored Walker then shoves another to the ground.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We’re at the end of round 5 and sitting at 16 threat so Tyreese is down to his last round. He has one supply token to get and three walkers to kill to get out of here.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tyreese first sneaks around to the last supply token and finds Bandages. Bandages? Tyreese in Riot Gear ain’t getting hurt.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He does get in the killzone of three walkers and they gang up on him. The event pushes threat up but doesn’t send anyone else in.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Using everything he’s got, the dual wield reroll fishes out the impressive third headshot.\u00a0 A triple walker kill<\/em> and first I’ve seen. Just crazy.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

With the last walker destroyed, Tyreese hears a faint click and notice behind them that a door has opened, lancing the room with a thin stream of light. Without hesitation, Tyreese runs through the door into the blinding light\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n
