Well we’re finally here on day 30, the end of the challenge. Nothing too exciting as I just started a big project painting up Archaon the Everchosen, Exalted Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse.
Still headless, Dorghar, infamous steed of Archaon the Everchosen, Exalted Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse, got some red treatment to the four big bone plates right above his hooves.
Then again at his wing claws.
I got a bit sloppy and smeared the actual claw here but that will get covered when doing the claw details. With this work, I concluded the first milestone in Duncan Rhodes’ painting tutorial of Archaon the Everchosen, Exalted Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse.
The next phase is going to take some time as I start on the wings. After getting through that bit of necessary monotony, I’ll get to work on the heads and glue them in to complete Dorghar. You know? The steed is Archaon the Everchosen, Exal…

Well done on the commitment over the last month. I’ve got to say you’ve made my last month-at-home more enjoyable by living vicariously each day.

Thanks Russ! It was interesting and while I think I could have just kept it going it is nice to take a break and do something else with that time. The wall hit around day 26 and I realized I wouldn’t push on past the month of April. Glad I could entertain a little each day though.
